Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda Spring 2014 collection was revealed this week to 150 exclusive guests, photographers, editors, and clients, in intimate setting of the designer’s penthouse. The fourth couture collection of this fashion house was influenced by the paintings of Van Gogh, Klimt, Renoir and Manet with overarching theme of floral fantasy. Number of presented ‘one of a kind’ pieces were purchased minutes after the runway show by the attending guests, despite of the price tags raising up to tens of thousands of Euros per piece. Why not? There is a price to be paid for made to measures ‘one offs’, that no one else will ever get to wear, especially coming from Italian couture masters!
