Chanel Haute Couture Spring 2014 show was revolutionary! No one else but Lagerfleld could make shaggy French pop star Sébastien Tellier and his orchestra work better in the set with two oversized staircases from Art Deco 1930s Hollywood era, with the models promenading around in ‘athletic inspiration’ of Chanel couture looks…and while audience guessed the runway show theme being anywhere from stadium to a sport club, there was Karl Lagerfeld himself setting the record straight, that this is ‘a nightclub on another planet’…
Corset-midriffs, short tops-boleros, shoulder, knees and elbow pads skillfully mixed with signature tweeds, were accessorized with Chanel pearls and styled with sneakers and sporty foot wear all throughout the evening shimmery, translucent gowns section….much expected ‘Chanel bride’ was not missing either! Cara Delevigne got the lucky draw this time…Chanel Haute Couture Spring Summer 2014 collection is for woman of the future… modern, athletic, sporty, yet glamorous and one can agree, it is revolutionary indeed!
