Balmain Spring 2014 collection was my favorite! The alternative pitch of this brand for Spring 2014 was less of a ‘night-bling’ look. The collection was themed in sporty, casual, ‘relaxed’ direction, involving oversized dogtooth and gingham checks, skirts hugging the hips, cup the butt and flip out in a sexy swirl, and a couple of jumpsuit looks. Olivier Rousteing, used “Relax,” the eighties hit by Frankie Goes to Hollywood, as his signature tune for spring. And while ‘relaxing’ is still rather relative term for Balmain, we can all agree that his Spring 2014 line in white, pastel pink and blue, or black, is romantic, sexy, and very modern!
