PARIS Fashion Week Spring 2014 Runway Report – Lanvin

LANVIN runway show is on the wish list of many fashion connoiseurs but remains one of the most exclusive when it comes to invitation lists. Mobs of paparazzi and media (top right- Modiste interviewed by World Fashion News) gathered hours in advance, despite of location being undisclosed from public domain. As last hour prior to the show start approached, one could hear every few minutes screaming fans with flashing cameras running from the street to the palace entrance (left) following their muse from the limousine drop off to the VIP gate…No surprise, when Lanvin front row fixtures included Catherine Deneuve, Laura Smet, Dolores Chaplin, Clotilde Courau, several members of royal families, and of course Ana Wintour and Ana Dello Russo (bottom right) were not missing…

Alber Elbaz, who gave fashion house Lanvin noticeable makeover, created for Spring 2014 vibrant collection based on metallic effects. Deep color shadows of green, gold, copper, silver, red and purple dominated the line… Structural features and pleads were combined with architectural constructs in masterpiece of designs, playing into shiny effects of chosen materials…Collection had beaming energy perfect for Spring season, and everyone in the audience wished for a runway piece to make it to their wardrobe…
