Few months ago Miuccia Prada threw an unforgettable fashion party on the catwalk showing her retro inspired Resort collection, with a late sixties and early seventies vibe. The first few pieces are already making their way to selected stores. Being huge fan, with many MiuMiu items in my wardrobe, I could not miss the exclusive opening fete in Miami Beach, which was a real treat for its esteemed customers. The Resort15 VIP opening event, hosted by MiuMiu team, started with a gourmet luncheon followed by a fashion show and the very first ‘shopping spree’, while flutes of bubbly and exquisite deserts were being served.

So many new and fun ideas were on the menu! Colorful suede micro-minidresses covered in sparkly crystals, paisley-printed blouses and flares topped with hand-crocheted vests, chic military-button jackets and coats, or a swirly psychedelic print pantsuits. The long scarves were an elegant touch to the series of perfect chiffon pleated dresses with square-cut skirt elements flowing in a playful way, accessorized with sexy blocked-heeled goddess sandals, pointy flats and lace-up boots.

If you are not yet a MiuMiu kind of girl, I predict you will become one after trying on Resort15 looks. But hurry up ladies! These pieces are selling as fast as they are appearing in the stores. Can you see why?
